Peter Pan Comes to Life with the Magic of Music Hall’s Mighty Wurlitzer

The Friends of Music Hall is thrilled to announce the return of its popular silent film concert series, featuring the iconic 1924 silent film Peter Pan, accompanied by acclaimed organist Brett Valliant on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ. This special family-friendly event will take place in the Music Hall Ballroom on Friday, April 24 2025, at 7:00 p.m.
Based on J.M. Barrie’s classic play, Peter Pan (1924) was the first film adaptation of the beloved story and inspired the later Disney animated version. The enchanting tale follows Wendy, John, and Michael Darling on their journey to Neverland with the mischievous Peter Pan and features notable performances by Betty Bronson as Peter Pan and Ernest Torrence as Captain Hook.
Step into the magic of Neverland and embrace the timeless theme of Peter Pan! Guests are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite characters from the beloved tale—whether it’s Peter, Wendy, Captain Hook, or even Tinker Bell. The evening will be filled with whimsy and nostalgia, featuring themed snacks that evoke the spirit of Neverland, engaging activities for all ages, and a chance to lose yourself in a world where no one ever has to grow up. About Brett Valliant
The evening’s organist, Brett Valliant, is renowned for his dynamic and masterful performances on theatre and church organs. Brett studied organ at Wichita State University with Robert Town as well as privately in the US and Australia. His career spans decades and continents. He regularly appears at silent film festivals, organ conventions, and concert venues worldwide. In 2021, Brett was honored as Organist of the Year by the American Theatre Organ Society.
