Effective October 1, 2021. Guidelines are subject to change.

We’re excited to show you Music Hall as you’ve never seen it before! Keeping our guests, volunteers, and staff safe is our priority. Your participation and understanding is greatly appreciated.

In cooperation with the Cincinnati Arts Association, which manages Music Hall, Friends of Music Hall has implemented layers of defense against COVID-19, including the Health and Safety Guidelines listed below.

Due to the high levels of COVID -19 transmission in Hamilton County, Ohio, and the surrounding area, the following protocols are effective beginning October 1, 2021, until further notice.

For Tours Inside Music Hall:

  • Guests, staff and volunteers are required to wear masks at all times inside Cincinnati Music Hall, regardless of vaccination status.
    • Face masks must cover the nose and mouth.
    • Bring your own mask and wear it as you enter the building.
      • Single-use masks will be available, if needed.
  • Ticketholders for tours and events who are 12 years of age and older will be required to show either:
    • Proof of vaccination
    • A negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of entry or an antigen test administered by a healthcare or pharmacy provider within 24 hours of entry.
      • COVID tests must be administered by an official testing center. Self-administered tests will not be accepted.
        • However, an at-home antigen test administered by a virtual proctor with a time and date stamped result – such as Abbott’s BinaxNOW with the Navica app result – will also be accepted.
    • A corresponding photo ID is required for individuals 18 years of age and older with proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.
  • It is recommended that guests maintain physical distancing whenever possible.
    • Full capacity for tours during this time is a maximum of 20 guests.
      • All children must be able to stay with their parent(s) or guardian for the duration of the tour or event.
    • Our volunteers will guide you with announcements and friendly reminders, and respond to any questions or concerns you may have.
  • By entering Music Hall, all guests, staff, volunteers, and artists certify that they are not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and have not been recently exposed to anyone with COVID-19.
    • If you are experiencing symptoms or have recently been exposed, stay at home and contact us for information about ticket options. For a list of COVID-19 symptoms, please visit the CDC website.

We all have a part to play in maximizing the health and safety of everyone at our venues. We will be strictly enforcing our health and safety requirements. Therefore, guests who do not comply with any of our health procedures may be denied entry or be required to leave the venue.
