Buckle up and get ready to experience the thrill of the swashbuckling classic silent movie, The Mark of Zorro, presented in the Music Hall ballroom with live accompaniment on the Mighty Wurlitzer theatre organ. Join Friends of Music Hall as we recreate the nostalgic magic of this 1920’s silent film landmark. With renowned organist Clark Wilson, you'll step back in time to watch Douglas Fairbanks star as Don Diego Vega, the seemingly foolish nobleman whose alter ego is the masked hero Zorro, who fights injustice with his sword and wit. Step back in time as every duel, flourish and moment of daring is echoed by the soaring tones of the Wurlitzer, played live by Wilson, one of the foremost silent-film accompanists.

Organist and Arranger Clark Wilson
Friends of Music Hall is delighted to welcome back organist Clark Wilson. Since 1980 he has been one of the most prominent and recognized scorers of silent photoplays in America. A skilled arranger, he creates accurate and historic musical accompaniments as they were performed in major picture palaces during the heyday of the silent film, such as Cincinnati’s Albee Theater which was the original home of Music Hall’s Mighty Wurlitzer. Noted film critic Leonard Maltin proclaimed Wilson a "master of silent film and showman of the first order." He has been resident organist at the Ohio Theatre for the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts since 1992 and has successfully toured with hundreds of film presentations throughout his career.
